Tortoise And the Hare

We all know the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.  I was at my little sisters college graduation yesterday and there were smiling students and parents, grandparents and siblings.  All were celebrating the accomplishment of a degree.  Something they earned.  It made me think back to my college days and wonder…how I managed to do it in 4 years.  Between working, classes, boyfriends and the ever so important social calendar that was high lighted and dog-eared by Taylors, beer bongs and the like I decided that yesterday I too earned a pat on the back- 4 years is becoming more obsolete in the realm of the college student’s timeline I learned. That being said, and I can feel me going off on a tangent, it made me think how college is like the story of the Tortoise and the Hare.  It doesn’t matter how long it takes us, we (hopefully) all get there in the end, to what ever our end may be.

Then my energy rattled brain went from a wonderfully introspective tangent to literally Tortoise and Hare.  And I love me some hair on hide and tortoise shell!  Here you go- today’s share is from the inspiration that college only took me 4 years…the first round :)
